We played our first playoff game on Tuesday against a team we tied 19-19 early on in the season. This game was just as tight, although I thought we were going to lose for sure for awhile. I played a softball game tonight. We won a close exiting game 18-15 to improve to 7-2-1 although we are still in 4th place. I went 2/2 with 2 singles, an RBI and a run scored. I played first base for the first time and it went well, lots of action at first base. Haven't updated for awhile, bad me. Not much going on here in SD. Been working and staying at home most nights. Last weekend I drove to LA to move in John and Julie, took 2.5hrs to get there and was quite hot but even though I missed the moving in part I did get to spend an afternoon with friends. Well I had softball last night. We played a team that was 1-5 and we were 4-1-1. We lost 11-33. It was a combination of things I think. I played golf today with 8 of my co-workers, including my boss, at Mission Bay golf course. I was in a group of 4 and we figured that my boss' handicap would be +2 and us three others was about +32. Last time I played this course I scored a 98 (par is 58) and this time I got a 91. A 7 point decrease is very nice and overall I am pleased with today's round and felt I played well. After a bye week we had another softball game tonight. We won a hard played game 7-6 that featured several lead changes and great defense by both teams. Still tired from the Con I went out to play Golf on Sunday afternoon with 4 co-workers. This time we played Tecolote Canyon which I've played maybe 3-4 times before. It was $18 and it is a 3100 yard, 18 hole, par 58 course. Although there are only 4-5 par 4 holes and the rest are par 3 it is still a challenging course. I went out to play golf today with 3 of my co-workers. We played the Mission Bay Golf Course here in SD which is a nice 18 hole course that has 4 par 4s and 14 par 3s. Overall it is a short course, about 2700 yards I think and some of the holes are right around 100 yards, quite short. I've started a forum with Web Resource which can be found in the sidebar under Chat or here. I only have one catagory/thread as I just started it but let me know what you think of the forum and it's set-up and features. This one is free and seems easy to navigate. Well I updated some links and changed the title of the blog. Originally it was Sacrilicious Turtle but that implies eating turtles (sacrilicious being sacriligious and delicious, from The Simpsons.) I've been thinking of setting up a blog for some time now and since several of my friends have ventured forth into blog territory I decided to finally have a go at it. I'm sure I'll have several Q's and the first few posts will most likely just be for testing out the template and feel in Blogger.
